What is Baptism?
Going under the water symbolizes dying to one’s old way of life (sin), and coming out of the water represents being raised to a new, transformed life in Christ. The Apostle Paul describes this in Romans 6:3-4: “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

What are small groups?
Church small groups are a crucial way people and community, accountability, and spiritual growth within a larger church context. When you attend your local church on a weekend or for any other weekly gathering, you’ll often and yourself in a crowd. This can make it challenging to feel seen and known by the people you’re around. Church small groups offer a way for people to be known by others in their church. They provide a place for you to talk about what you’re learning through weekly sermon teachings, share what you’re learning as you read the Bible.
